Somewhere between decorating a custom-made cake and perfectly sipping our cocktails in a room full of people who may have arrived as strangers, something special happened.
Cake & Sip by Àánú Signature was never meant to be just another event where people showed up, took a few pictures, ate something sweet and went home. Although, let’s be honest, the cake was definitely a very good reason to show up (Ifykyk)
This was a properly curated experience. A space where fashion, culture, conversation and community could sit at the same table — literally.

The journey began in Lagos, where we brought together members of our community to connect with the world of Àanú Signature beyond the clothes. Creators got to experience the stories, inspiration and creative direction behind the brand while enjoying good company, great conversations and, of course, cake and a sip or more
Then, because one city simply was not enough for the conversation we were building, Cake & Sip made its way to London.
Overlooking the River Thames, the London edition brought together fashion creators, industry voices and members of our growing community for an intimate afternoon that felt both new and familiar. There were conversations about style, culture and creativity. There were first looks at pieces from our upcoming Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Most importantly, there was room for people to connect, because at Àánú Signature, we believe fashion should not feel like a one-way conversation.
These form part of the Àanú story.
Cake & Sip allowed us to close that distance.

From Lagos to London, the locations changed, but the feeling remained the same.
A love for contemporary Nigerian design.

It can be a conversation starter.
It can carry memories.

Lagos was the beginning. London became the next chapter.
For us, Cake & Sip is proof that Àánú Signature is growing beyond a brand you simply shop from. It is becoming a community you can experience, contribute to and grow with.
